Pakistan's President Musharraf made no Deal with President Bush

Musharraf’s spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said Tuesday, "news reports that U.S. could go into Pakistan to kill or arrest Osama-Bin-Laden are not true.'
He further said that President Musharraf and the administration of former US President George W. Bush had no such deal and these allegations are baseless.
Chaudhry says no such agreement was signed during Musharraf’s tenure and there wasn’t a verbal understanding either.
Musharraf’s spokesman says Musharraf always rejected US requests to launch raids in Pakistan. Chaudhry spoke from Dubai where the former military ruler is staying.
On Monday current and retired U.S. officials said that deal was struck between President Bush and Pakistani President Musharraf that if United States ever had the information that the terrorist was in Pakistan, U.S. could unilaterally go into Pakistan and launch an operation, and later Pakistan would criticize U.S. for local consumption.
