EU backs Pakistan after Osama's Death

Brussels: The European Union Thursday insisted that it will not turn its back on Pakistan even after Osama-Bin-Laden was found living comfortably 30 miles from the Nation's capital.

”There can be no doubt that we will have to rely on Pakistan’s full cooperation as a partner, the death of Bin Laden underlines the need for broad and reinforced engagement with Pakistan generally, but also on security-related issues”. EU Spokes man, Mann said.
Pakistan has a crucial role to play in making the region secure and stable, Mann also added “Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani needs the international community’s support as he attempt to regain full control over all organs of state."

In United States members of Congress are considering cutting the aid to Pakistan until they can provide some answers to why Pakistan did not know of Osama's presence in Pakistan. In 2011 Pakistan is scheduled to receive 1.5 billions in aid.
